The East Midlands Engineering and Science Professionals
(EMESP) provides a voice on the common issues for the engineering
and science profession in the East Midlands. It works to
make people much more aware and appreciative of the vital
contribution that engineering and science make to the economy,
prosperity and quality of life of our region. EMESP also
promotes awareness that engineering and science are an
exciting, rewarding and fun career for young men and women
who seek opportunities at the highest levels anywhere in
the world. EMESP enables existing institutions and other
bodies to increase their effectiveness by working together.
The East Midlands ESP is composed of local representatives
from the leading engineering and science professional institutions
which have national coverage, global in many cases. Total
membership across the East Midlands is approximately 30,000.
Most of the institutions are Licensed Bodies of EC (UK)
Ltd. and members of the Engineering and Technology Board.” |
